High-Efficiency Energy Equipment Certification Update for 2025 Starting January 1, 2025, tubular LED lamps (external converter type) and centrifugal pumps (Water Supply, Double Suction Volute, Ground Motor Separated) will no longer be part of the High-Efficiency Energy Equipment certification list. New certifications and extensions will only be valid until September 30, 2024. This regulation is effective immediately upon announcement. This will enable manufacturers to quickly and effectively verify these components, helping to ensure product safety. Korean Autonomous Driving Data Standard Adopted as U.S. Standard

Korean Autonomous Driving Data Standard Adopted as U.S. Standard The autonomous driving traffic signal data standard (TLSM) proposed by Korea has been incorporated into the 2024 revised edition of the SAE J2735 standard, the de facto international standard in the autonomous vehicle field, published on the 16th (U.S. time).   The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) proposed the KS R 1600-3 (Traffic Signal Data) standard, developed by the National Police Agency and Korea Road Traffic Authority, for the SAE J2735 revision. This proposal was accepted, following the 2023 MOU between KATS and SAE.   Since 2020, the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has been working with relevant ministries and industries to establish seven national standards (KS) for autonomous driving data, including scenarios for data usage, vehicle information, traffic signals, maps, control systems, and pedestrian safety.
