Google Unveils AI-Powered Smartphone 'Pixel 8

Google hosts 'Made by Google' event in New York, unveils latest smartphone series 'Pixel 8' with improved camera, display, and enhanced AI performance powered by 'Tensor G3' mobile SoC based on Samsung Exynos 2300.

Google's 'Pixel 8' introduces features like 'Best Take' which combines multiple similar photos and optimizes each person's face to create the best shot, 'Real Tone' which better represents diverse skin tones, and AI noise reduction when paired with Pixel Buds Pro. Additionally, it can imitate the user's voice for simple responses when unable to answer calls.

Google Assistant joins forces with AI chatbot 'Bard,' becoming 'Assistant with Bard.' This combined entity can assist in planning trips, finding details in email inboxes, and engaging in conversations using voice, text, documents, and images. Google plans to roll out 'Assistant with Bard' to the general user base within a few months after testing with select users.

New smartphone pre-orders start on October 4th in North America, with in-store release planned for October 12th.
