On December 31, 2025, the National Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued Notification No. 2025-22 , amending part of the EMC standards as a public safety measure in response to malfunction issues of platform screen door (PSD) sensors caused by broadband 5G mobile communication signals. The amendment aims to ensure the broadband radiation immunity of PSD laser sensors (or LiDAR sensors). This notification will take effect on July 1, 2026. On December 5, 2025, the National Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued a notification of a partial revision to the SAR measurement standards. The current SAR measuring procedures, KS C 3370-1 and KS C 3370-2, will be integrated into a new standard, KS C 3350, which closely aligns with IEC/IEEE 62209-1528:2020. This new SAR standard will take effect on April 1, 2026.
