  • The label shall be affixed before product release for locally manufactured products, and before customs clearance for imported products.

Manufacturer name or importer name/Manufacturing country

Manufacturing date (year and month or Lot no.)

After-sales service telephone no. (local service center tel. no.)

Information required according to each safety standard (such as rating voltage, power frequency, current, warning statement)

 

  • If all information above, including KC mark and certificate no., is attached to the product, the information may be omitted on the package.

  • The label should be put on the product or on the package by a printing or inscribing method.

  • The label may be written in Korean or English.

 

Small product with a cross-sectional area of up to 400 mm²

KC Mark or Certificate no. (one of them)
Other information shall be provided on a tag or on the package

 

Small product with a cross-sectional area between 400 mm² and 900 mm²

KC Mark and Certificate no. (both of them)
Other information shall be provided on a tag or on the package

 

  • For integrated rechargeable batteries that are built into electrical appliances and cannot be separated, either KC mark or the Certificate no. shall be indicated on the battery. Other information may be placed on the product tag or on the package.

  • The model no. of the battery cell shall be marked on it, and other information may be placed on the package.

  • The e-labelling method follows the procedure specified by RRA in the conformity assessment scheme; mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs, laptops, etc.
