Korea is moving to revise safety standards related to electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has issued an administrative announcement on proposed amendments to the Enforcement Regulations of the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act ( Announcement No. 2026-163 ), and public comments on the proposal will be accepted until July 6, 2026.
