Communication Regulations of Broadcasting and Telecommunications Facilities

The National Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued an administrative notice on April 29, 2024, announcing partial amendments to the technical standards for the safety, reliability, and communication regulations of broadcasting and telecommunication facilities.


• To prevent network disasters and failures and to ensure network stability, new provisions for improving network structure and strengthening the prevention of communication failures will be established.

• To enable the use of both internal and external subscriber identity modules in mobile communication devices, the current term "IC card" will be changed to "Subscriber Identity Module (SIM)."
