3. Submission of the annual report to KEA

  • Local manufacturers and importers shall submit a production/import and sales performance report annually
➡ GCA KOREA does this service and submits the performance report annually

  • Each model shall be registered
- Additional measurements are not required for the series models that do not affect MEPS

Common Compliance Pitfalls:

  • Failure to Register: Testing the product at a lab, but failing to register the model with the Korea Energy Agency (KEA).
  • Labeling Omissions: Failing to include mandatory information required by law on the label.
  • MEPS Violations: Distributing products that do not meet the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS).
  • Consequences of Non-Compliance: Non-compliance can lead to substantial fines, administrative sanctions, and sales prohibition orders.

➡ GCA KOREA acts as your local representative and provides precise labeling guidelines to ensure your product meets full compliance.
