MSIT Announces Amendment to Ease Licensing for Wireless Power Transmission

The Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) has issued an administrative notice to exempt certain radio wave application devices from individual installation permission.


🔹 Key Change

Wireless power transmission devices (≤1kW) used for charging robots in serving, delivery, and logistics will shift from individual installation approval to product model-specific conformity assessment.


📅 Opinions accepted until March 24, 2025.
