KC EMC Certification in Korea: Adding a Series Model Without Testing

When adding a new model name (series model) to an existing product that has already obtained KC certification through the RRA conformity assessment process, a change notification may be submitted without additional testing, provided that certain conditions are met.

To add a model without additional testing, the electrical circuits and structure of the basic model and the series model to be added must be identical, and there must be no changes that affect the applicable conformity assessment requirements.

Required Documents for Adding a Model

• Conformity Assessment Change Notification Form
• External photos of the basic model and the additional series model
• Existing KC Certificate
