KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards) - Request to Halt Procurement of 58 Non-Compliant Products, Including Skateboards, for Safety Standards As the demand for overseas direct purchasing and proxy purchasing has increased in online malls in Korea, the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards conducted safety inspections on 404 products, including skateboards, snowboards, and hair dryers. The results of the investigation revealed that out of the 404 products under scrutiny, 58 were found to be non-compliant with safety standards. Among consumer goods, 24 products received non-compliance judgments, including skateboards that broke during drop tests and snowboards with inadequate strength.
