KC Certification Series (RRA) | SDoC (Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity)

KC Certification - Korea RRA SDoC Overview

SDoC (Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity)

SDoC is one of the conformity assessment types under the Radio Research Agency (RRA) Conformity Assessment Scheme. It applies to broadcasting and communication equipment with a low risk of electromagnetic interference.

Manufacturers, importers, and sellers must conduct testing in accordance with the conformity assessment standards, either by themselves or through a third-party testing laboratory, prepare a Self-Conformity Declaration, and disclose the relevant information on the RRA website.


1. Target Devices

USB/Battery-Powered Household Appliances, Electric Tools, Audio/Video Devices, Office Products

All Lighting Products

Measuring, Inspection, and Testing Equipment

Railway Products

Large or Heavy Products, Industrial Products

 

2. Key Process

Testing

Tested by manufacturers or third-party testing laboratories.

Review

Product registration can be completed via the RRA website without a separate review process (typically within one working day).


3. Required Documents

Documents Submitted to RRA

Application Form (electronic method)

SDoC Form

External Photos

POA (Power of Attorney)


Documents to be retained by the local representative (not required to be submitted to RRA)

Test Reports

External Drawing or Photos

- Clearly showing the front and rear sides of the product, connection interfaces, and label

Components/Parts Placement (Layout) Drawing or Photos

- Possible to see part number and/or specifications

User Manual (English is ok): The following Class A equipment shall include the information below.

- Industrial and Scientific Radio Frequency Application Equipment

- Multimedia Equipment and Office Equipment

This device has been evaluated for use in a work environment. Use in a home environment may cause radio interference.”


4. Labeling Requirements

Items 1 to 3 shall be indicated on the product or the package

Items 4 to 8 shall be indicated in user manual or SDoC

2. Model Name

3. Management Number (Company Code-Product Code)

4. Applicant (Certificate Holder) Name

5. Product Name

6. Manufacturing Date (year and month or Lot number composed of year and month of manufacture)

7. Manufacturer and Manufacturing Country (Country of Origin)

8. RRA Internet Homepage Address (http://www.rra.go.kr/selform/management number)
